The end of it all

I'm losing this war. my camps have been taken over by Octavius's men and i have sent titinius to see exactly whats happening. Titinius has been captured and I fear i have made a horrible mistake sending my best friend to die. I'm going to tell Pindarus to come down from the mountain and fulfill my last wish. What I have foreseen is happening and I will not be brought into Rome and paraded through the streets. Pindarus will do my last request on this earth. I have given Pindarus my dagger to finish what I started so long ago. Brutus love me, farewell.

Brutus and I met Antony and Octavius at Philippi. They were badmouthing us so we did the same. They called us traitors but Brutus defended us. Today is my birthday and I fear I'm going to die today. I've told Messala this and he told me not to believe it but I have seen the omens and i know death is coming. On the flag poles there was ravens and kites instead of eagles. these are signs of death and i fear our armies are going to lose this great battle. I shall fight regardless, Antony and Octavius may win but were not going down without a fight.

  

Brutus and I were debating strategies for battle. He wants to march to Philippi but I want to let Antony and Octavius's army come to us. But as usual Brutus gets his way and we're marching to Philippi to meet Antony and Octavius in battle tomorrow. I told Brutus goodnight and went off to rest until the morning. I don't see why Brutus has to have his way all the time i mean he's a man just like me yet he always undermines me and makes me out to be some kind of monster. Hopefully we'll do good in battle tomorrow.

Portia?

So this poet walks in to Brutus's tent and starts saying stuff about us being friends. I laughed at first but sent him away after a couple minutes. I brought up the fight to Brutus and he told me he's sick many of things and that Portia is dead. Brutus didn't think much of it but I took it as a shock. She killed herself for fear of Antony and Octavius. Brutus yelled at me for asking about her and then commanded Lucius to bring wine so i told Lucius to fill my cup. We then spoke of Antony and Octavius. I learned that they killed Cicero along with 70 other senators. Messala asked Brutus if he had heard anything from his wife as of late and I thought Brutus was going to go insane but he just said no. I can't believe Portia's dead.

The fight to end them all

Most noble brother you have done me wrong. Those were the first words out of my mouth when I saw Brutus. He didn't listen to my letters telling him to go easy on Lucius Pella. All Pella did was take a few bribes from the Sardians. I started to yell in front of the troops out of anger but Brutus said that we should settle this in his tent so the armies don't see their leaders fighting. He accused me of taking bribes. Can you believe that, Brutus accusing me of such a thing. The fight we had led into a huge argument and I almost lost Brutus for good. Then we apologized for losing our tempers and our friendship was restored. I was just scared Brutus was gonna hit me.

         

Sorry we killed Caesar, Antony..................Not

I'm still worried about Antony but Caesar's dead what's the worst that can happen now. I told Antony he will have a say in politics just as we do now. Antony seems pretty scared so i asked why he wanted to be with us and if we should depend on him or move on. Brutus told Antony he's allowed to speak at Caesars funeral and i really don't think it's a good idea. All Antony's gonna do is say why we're the bad guys. Then Brutus told me that he will make sure the people know Antony is only speaking because we have allowed it and he is not allowed to speak badly about us only of Caesar. I still don't like this idea of Marc Antony.

Caesar's done

We gave Caesar one last chance and he failed. Metellus Cimber asked for his brother to be recalled from exile and Caesar wouldn't even let poor Metellus finish his question. When Caesar said no Brutus asked this same thing and again Caesar said no. This is when Casca started to stab Caesar and the rest of us followed. Caesar muttered something right before he died I think it was "Et tu, Brute?". Caesar must've been in shock that even Brutus would do this to him. I sent someone to the pulpits to tell the people of the wonderful news that Caesar is dead.
                                  

Trouble at the Capitol

Todays the day. Caesar goes down today. It took some convincing but Decius got Caesar to the capitol. Someone handed Caesar a letter but the man must be mad if he thinks someone like Caesar would read something so unimportant on a day like this. When we got to the capitol Popilius said "I wish your enterprise today may thrive". I think he knows what's gonna happen. I don't know he found out but hopefully he doesn't tell anyone especially Caesar. I told Casca to hurry because if someone sees what's happening we'll be stopped. Man, I really hope no one finds out about this.

      

Brutus's house

So I was at Brutus's house with all the other guys. We went in after dark and saw Brutus just pacing around in his garden. He looked like something was wrong but I didn't bother to ask. I brought all the other guys with me so Brutus could meet them. Brutus decided to join us so my plan is definitely gonna work now. Caesar isn't gonna know what hit him. I mean come on he wouldn't expect Brutus to do any harm to him. I said we should swear on it but Brutus said if we are true Romans we won't break our promise. I don't like that Marc Antony he seems kind of shady. I suggested killing him to but Brutus said he won't be any trouble once Caesar is gone.
